We're searching for a person with a keen eye and creative style!

Work as a part of a winning team by developing and maintaining Northern Safety’s website functionality and content to promote and sell our products on the internet.

Responsibilities will include:

• Gathering and researching information on website content to enhance or improve site existence
• Creating, editing, and updating web content on existing site as changes are necessary
• Assisting the design team with converting, and uploading icons, logos, and images to proper format
• Assisting in the planning of Ecommerce Marketing Strategy to improve website sales
• Assisting in the production of weekly email blasts and other ecommerce related marketing materials
• Keeping abreast of the ERP database functionality, and updating and working with internal and external resources to determine impact on site
• Researching and resolving problems that pertain to the functionality of the company’s website
• Keeping abreast of current development and tools relating to the internet
• Recommending options to enhance website performance
• Developing knowledge of company’s products and services
• Assisting in creating strategies for new online initiatives including, video, mobile apps, social networking, and surveys
• Proofing online catalog

The successful candidate should have an Associate’s Degree from a two-year college in marketing or business or 2-3 years online marketing experience. We are looking for proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel, Dreamweaver, and Macintosh Computer/Software and application skills. Knowledge in HTML, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator would be ideal. The chosen candidate will be organized, thorough and accurate, and have a positive, professional attitude. Must have self-initiative to develop content and maintain confidentiality with company related business and materials. Excellent communication skills are a must. This person will have the ability to work additional hours, if needed, to meet deadlines and the ability to travel, if needed.
