How to buy
1. Accessing Your Shopping Cart
You may view your cart at any time by clicking the red arrow in the checkout module, by clicking the items link to the
right of the shopping cart icon, or by clicking the 'Checkout' button.
2. Reviewing your Shopping Cart
Your cart displays the items you purchased, in the order you purchased them. While viewing your cart, you can change the quantity of an item, return to the product description page, and remove an item if necessary.
3. Login or Register
If you're an established Northern Safety customer, enter your information in the Login section.
If it's your first time at Northern Safety and northernsafety.com, select the 'Register' link under the register section to the right.
4. Checkout: Billing & Shipping Info
Next you'll need to enter your billing, shipping, and payment information.
5. Checkout: Payment Info
After locating what you need and clicking the "add to cart" button, you'll be prompted to enter a Key Code #. The Key Code is located in the yellow box on the back cover of our 708-page catalog and our mini-catalog mailers. Entering a keycode ensures that you get the special pricing you're entitled to.
If you're not ordering from a catalog, click continue and keep shopping, or check out!
6. Checkout: Review Shipping Info
After entering your billing, shipping, and payment information, you'll see your Ship-To and Order Review page. Here you'll be able to:
- 1. add additional ship-to addresses
- 2. edit existing ship-to information, and
- 3. change items and/or quantities before placing your order
7. Checkout: Review Your Order
In the last step of the checkout process you'll be able to review your order, make adjustments to items and quantities, as well as edit your billing and shipping information.
8. Placing Your Order
Finalize your order by clicking on the button. Shortly after your order is placed, you'll receive an order confirmation via Email.
A shipping confirmation Email will arrive immediately after your order is shipped with a tracking number and link to track where your order is every step of the way.
You may check My Account to find out the status of your present orders as well as view past orders!
