You can search northernsafety.com in various ways to successfully find what you're looking for! Besides our site's easy navigation we've incorporated a powerful search function which will help you find a variety of related items or narrow your search down to the exact item you need.
Advanced Search

You can perform a general search by entering:

  • Keyword(s)
  • Item # from our catalog (Please enter item # without suffix (for example, 100-3001 or 3001, not 100-3001 BK or 3001 BK)
  • Manufacturers name or item # (The search is not case sensative: Drill, DRILL, or drill will yield the same results)

You can look for all of the words, any of the words or you can exclude certain words.

For example, to find cordless drills, type in "cordless drills".

  • If you choose "All of these words" then the search will limit itself to only cordless drills.
  • If you choose "Any of these words" then your result will be all items that are or are related to cordless products, and all items that are or are related to drills. You may find a cordless screwdriver and a drill bit!
  • You can also exclude words. For example, if you're not interested in seeing a cordless drill with 18 volts, then you can exclude all 18 volt cordless drills right then and there!

Refine your keyword search even more by entering more options!

Once you've entered a keyword(s) in the search field, you can narrow down your search even further.

  • First, select the category you'd like to search in. Once you've chosen the category, the subcategory choices will reflect what exists within each of the main categories. If you're not sure what category the product may be in, you can select search all categories.
  • To define your search a little more, you can search by manufacturer. The list of manufacturers will reflect those found within the product category you chose above. If you didn't choose a category, all manufacturers will be listed. You can either choose a range of manufacturers to search, or search them all.
  • If you have our catalog, you can view a complete listing of the items on a particular page by entering the page number here.

If the search term(s) you entered is misspelled or differs from the actual product names, (for example, if you're looking for cordless drills, and you enter "curdless drill" or "cordless-drill") your result may not be what you expected. You can change the spelling or format of the term(s) you entered, or enter new term(s) and try again!
