Northern Safety hosts ribbon cutting for new customization business
The Mohawk Valley has a new business. Northern Safety officially opened their new customization business on Monday, November 11, 2013 with a ribbon cutting. The company’s spokesman and baseball legend, Cal Ripken, Jr., attended the opening.
Northern Safety’s new business, located at 126 Industrial Park Drive in Frankfort, provides a new service to customers across the country. Customers can put their logos or safety messages on a variety of products Northern Safety currently sells.
“We’re always looking for new ways to serve our customers. This new customization business seems like the next natural step. Customizing products increases compliance in the workplace, helps reduce injuries, and identifies workers on a job site,” says company founder and CEO, Sal Longo.
“We’re providing screen printing, pad printing, and embroidery service better, faster, and cheaper than anyone else in the business. Plus, the new business occupies a previously empty building and will employ an additional 50–100 people,” Mr. Longo continues.
“I like the values and the principals. I love the company,” says Mr. Ripken. “Northern Safety is a big economic value to the community, and it's recognized. In many ways, Sal is just getting started, trying to figure out how to grow the company and get bigger and bigger," he continues.
The Mohawk Valley is home to Northern Safety’s corporate headquarters and new customization business. The company is proud of our area and is committed to its growth.
