New videos from OSHA inform workers on proper respirator use

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has posted a series of videos to help workers learn about respirators and how to properly use them.

The videos provide essential information to general industry, construction, and healthcare workers. Topics include OSHA's Respiratory Standard, respirator use, training, fit-testing, and medical evaluations. The series includes 9 videos in English and 8 in Spanish, and have closed captioning for streaming or download, to reach a wide audience of workers.

In the U.S., roughly 5 million workers are required to wear respiratory protection in 1.3 million workplaces. Provide employees with the appropriate safety products to protect against insufficient oxygen environments, harmful dusts, fogs, smokes, mists, gases, vapors, and sprays.
