ASSE begins largest expo on record

On June 3, the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) started its Safety 2012 Expo at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, marking the opening of the largest expo ASSE has ever held.

The event features more than 500 exhibitors showing off their products in 80,000 square feet of expo space, much bigger than last year's expo, which set records with 475 exhibitors in 75,000 square feet. In addition to an extensive lineup of new safety products, the event will feature several keynote speeches and educational programs.

Some of the products on the display floor include first aid kits, gas monitors, new ergonomically designed safety products, and other innovations.

Exhibitors at the event range in diversity from large corporations and federal agencies to colleges and nonprofit organizations. Their demonstrations will show the latest in safety and health products, safety technology and information, and classes and programs. Ensure workers wear the most up-to-date personal protective equipment available, and all proper safety equipment is in place to help prevent on-the-job injuries.
