Workers’ Memorial Day on April 28, 2023
Friday, April 28th marks Workers Memorial Day, in honor those who died or have been injured on the job. Families, workers, labor unions, and advocates will gather in Washington, DC and in communities across the country to fight for improved worker safety.
The theme for 2023 is "Every Worker is More Than a Number."
The Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) will host an in-person and virtual ceremony on April 27 at 1:00 PM ET.

Workers Memorial Day occurs yearly on April 28, the day OSHA was established in 1971.
