I've had my Elipse for several years. My woodturning produces dust from the shavings and of course lots of dust from sanding. This mask and the filters provide waaaaaay more protection from both. When I use a regular paper dust mask without filters, after a couple of hours my nose is clogged and my voice is hoarse. With the Elipse, neither is perfect, BUT, it's about ninety percent better than a paper mask and 150% better than nothing!

Bought these replacement filters for our P100 respirators before they're discontinued and no longer available which seems to be the norm these days. Fortunately also, they're the right replacements, which is a relief since there are so many models of everything out there that it takes forever to figure out what goes with what. All in all, we've got working respirators with replacement filters for years to come.

I ordered this P100 mask for use in China after practically choking to death in India. This is a great, small(ish) mask that filters out everything that would bring on an asthma attack or COPD issues. And at 0.3 micron filter size, it is good for the Covid19 too! I love it, and use it in the attic and anytime Im in a dusty environment. Hugely better than a dust mask-N95.

This is more of a shout out to Northern Safety, than a review of the product. The product itself is good and I was just getting replacement filters for my respirator that I have had for several years. With the current limited availability of items like respirators due to COVID-19, I found they had a few of these respirators in stock and placed an order. However, they cancelled the order, understandably so. I reached out to them via email to indicate that I was a healthcare provider (HCP) and this was going to be used in my working setting with patients rather than for it's previous use in my workshop. After verifying that I was a (HCP) they shipped out the replacement filters. Thank you for looking out for all of us helathcare providers during this difficult time!

Serviceable Filters, be careful when installing

Overall I love these masks. The replaceable filters are perfectly serviceable, and N.S. seems a fine company in my dealings and their presentation.I wanted to point out that when you put these filters into the mask, you must be careful not to push the filter in TO the mask as much as spread the mask around the filter. You can crush and damage the filter media if you are too aggressive. One star on Quality - a different design might prevent that.Also, the documentation with the mask states the filters have a 5 year shelf life (quite reasonable), but only a one month use-life. I assume for light use this could be extended (especially seeing as how some filters come in a bag with air holes), but it's worth pointing that out - hence the small hit on "value"I still highly recommend this product.
