2013 marks Northern Safety's 30th Anniversary. Those 30 years have passed in the blink of an eye, and I've loved every minute of it. I know that we could never reach this milestone without you, and your loyalty is never taken for granted. Our commitment and drive to finding ways to serve you better has never waivered... and never will. You can count on that!
As we look forward to 2013, I want to reflect on what an amazing year 2012 was. We proudly welcomed Channel Safety and Marine Supply to the Northern Safety family in September. They bring a diverse product offering and 5 locations across Texas and Louisiana. We now have 15 locations nationwide... with more coming very soon! We're expanding to serve you better and faster than ever.
One of the biggest accomplishments of this past year was implementing the world-class operating system, SAP. Now, there's almost no limit to the number of products we can offer you. We're not wasting any time, either. We'll be adding nearly 60,000 signs and increasing our industrial products offering by the end of the year. The sky's the limit... and we'll be pushing the limits!
As amazing as the last 30 years have been, the future looks even brighter. We've made major investments in training our associates... they're our biggest asset. We've also invested in operational, warehouse, and e-commerce technology, and we have a lot of great things planned. This year, we'll be introducing product customization, vending programs, wider product selection, online product demonstration videos, product reviews, and much more. We'll be adding more locations, distribution centers, and outstanding team members to serve you better and faster than ever.
