Im a firefighter and run on mostly wildland fires. I bought these from glovecrafters. They're made in the USA. Most leather work gloves get hard after drying out when getting wet. Thse never get hard. Ive worn them for over 2 years and well over a hundred fires. They are still going strong. They don't take away much from my dexterity. I can even operate switches and choke pull knobs while wearing these. They aren't bulky and fit easily in a pocket. I will only buy these for my wildland firefighter duties as long as they make them. Be advised, they do run a little large so order one size smaller than you normally wear.
