• Working load limits are established for a vertical pull
• Angular lifts place additional stress on eyebolt and should be avoided
• Shoulder pattern eyebolts are recommended for use whenever possible since there is no guarantee that a load will not be subjected to an angular lift and forces
• Eyebolts should never be ground, machined, metal stamped, welded or altered in any way
• Eyebolt capabilities can be affected by temperature, do not use carbon steel eyebolts at temperatures below 32° f (0° c)
• Eyebolts should be routinely inspected
• Design factor: 5 to 1
• Meets or Exceeds All Requirements of ASME B18.15 and Tested to ASTM A489
