National Safety Month 2025 is Here

Every year the National Safety Council (NSC) recognizes June as National Safety Month. National Safety Month focuses on reducing leading causes of injury and death at work, on the road, and in our homes. The goal of National Safety Month is to highlight specific dangers and how to avoid injuries.
Each week in June will highlight a different subject:
- Week 1 – Continuous Improvement
- Week 2 – Employee Engagement
- Week 3 – Roadway Safety
- Week 4 – Wellbeing
Easy ways to encourage safety are:
- Distributing the downloadable National Safety Month materials
- Creating newsletters or blog posts
- Holding a safety trivia contest with weekly prizes
- Making an activity out of identifying hazards where you work and live
- Throwing a safety fair, lunch 'n learn or celebratory luncheon
- Encouraging others to take the SafeAtWork pledge
- Sharing posts on your social media channels using #NSM
- Providing safety training
The NSC is encouraging people to get involved by taking the pledge on their website. You can also get National Safety Month materials here.
